MCSA, MCSD and MCSE certifications expire on January 31st 2021

Role-based Microsoft certifications replace MCSA, MCSD and MCSE certifications

Since September 2018, Microsoft has been continuously expanding the new job role-based Microsoft certifications in the areas of Azure, Modern Workplace and Business Applications.

Microsoft will completely discontinue the current Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certifications on January 31st 2021. All remaining MCSA, MCSD and MCSE exams will expire on January 31st 2021 and can no longer be taken after that date.
